Firefox 1.5 and Windowblinds 5

Tuesday, November 29th, 2005

The long awaited release of the two different softwares that are making headlines weeks ago had released their new and updated version of their application.

Firefox 1.5

Firefox15
At last, Mozilla.com has just announced that the new version of it’s popular open source web browser is now available for download. Also, the Mozilla website had a new makeover, just in tune with the release of their new version of Firefox. After months (I think) of testing and trial and error with the release of Beta 1 and 2 and last weeks, the Release Candidate, patriots of this browser will experience a new breed of browsing experience.

My review…

I didn’t notice such huge improvements and/or major overhaul of this browser. Maybe because a month ago I’ve tried using the beta’s and the release candidate. We’ll, I’m not surprised of the new options panel that was available since the 1.5 Beta. Over all the browsing speed is indeed fast when switching with the previous pages. The excellent re-ordering of tabs and the security enhancements it still provides. An automatic update is embedded onto this new version of Firefox so your browser will have the latest updates available.

Windowblinds 5

At last, the folks at Stardock had released their stand-alone software product Windowblinds 5Windowblinds5
to the public for download. You can download the shareware version which is free of course and the enhanced which you will buy for only $19.95. This new version enhances all aspects of the Windows GUI, embedded into the Windows shell itself removing the wbload.exe start up, enables cleaner lines and graphics, has a new control panel and many more.

My review…

I’m longing for this to come, the day when the free version of Windowblinds 5 will be available for download. First, I immediately download this software (a merely 9 MB in file size) then install it to my PC. The installation was quite the same as it’s predecessors but this one is fast enough. After restarting the PC for the installation to complete, I notice the new skin automatically replaces my old one. The performance of the version 5 proves that they had improve the launching speed of this software. I can make my taskbar transparent like glass. Wee! I definitely recommend this to all.

Talaga Naman

MYMP

Talaga naman, nakakabighani
Talaga naman, nakakagulat
Nakapagtataka ba’t ka na sa isip
Nakakapanghinayang sana’y maulit

Refrain:
Talaga naman, nakakabigo
Talaga naman,nakakalungkot
Kung kailan pang malapit nang
Mahulog ang loob saka ka lumisan
Sa ‘king pagtulog
Chorus:
Panaginip nakakabaliw

Repeat refrain
Repeat chorus(2x)

Create a do-it-yourself paper CD case

This is fun. Meron talagang origami-type CD paper case na pwede mo gawin. Kung dati kasi kapag wala kang case para sa CD, you wrap it lang sa isang piece of paper. Minsan, pag hindi pa maganda ung pag-wrap mo, the CD may slip or the paper might scratch the CD kasi hindi siya secure. Now, this procedure definitely secure the CD in the case. Paano gawin? Team1Alliance: Home-based Call Center

Thursday, November 17th, 2005

Team1_1  Astig. I have an ID from Team 1 Alliance, the first to offer home-based call center in the Philippines. I’m still waiting though for the men’s apparel because it was out of stock. Or maybe change it to a traveler’s kit after seeing it wednesday night. The traveler’s bag was so cool with an impressive team1 logo on it. Also, I’m still waiting for the names to be posted on who passed the interview and the upcoming launch of the first home-based call center on November 26.

For those interested…

Team 1 Alliance International will launch it’s first home-based call center in the country this November 26, 2005. Maganda ito, kakaibang business oppurtunity. At first may duda pa ako sa mga ganyang klase ng business. So, I turn to my mother to seek advice kasi bihasa na sia sa pagiging isang businesswoman. I’m not surprised na nagduda rin siya. But after, na-explain ng mga uplines ko ung whole concept, nag-bago isip nia and let me in to this business. Astig nman talaga kasi eh. Actually, mga members dito mga 300+ pa lng and growing and habang hindi pa na-llaunch ung home-based call center eh kumikita ka na. What if kung start na ung call center and you start to earn money? Think about that.

Team 1 Launching the Country’s First Home-based Call Center Business.

Imagine yourself earning in US dollars while running your own call

center business inside the comfort of your home!

Now you can cash in on the present call center boom in the country.

Estimated to be around 75,000 seats by the end of 2005, the market is

expected to grow by an average of 20,000 seats per year in the next

coming years.

How is it possible then for you to make money in your own call center

business?

Team 1 Alliance is now launching in the market the first ever

home-based call center operations in the country.

Whereas before when call center operations are confined in typical

office environments; it is now possible for anyone to operate it at

home, thanks to advances in information technology.

It doesn’t matter whether you have call center experience or not.

Together w/ its partners that have more than 25 man-years of

experience in call center start-up & development, Team 1 Alliance will

help you establish your own call center business for only P9600

initial capital w/c include the down payment for a complete home-based

call center systems package.

The package consists of a desktop computer, monitor, headset, computer

program, basic & advance training, sources of clients, communication

system & many other support services to ensure your success.

Operating a Call center At home has some advantages for an agent:

1. the agent saves on cost of transportation, food & clothing. An

agent can even work wearing simple & comfortable house clothes such as

T-shirts & shorts.

2. The agent avoids the danger of working outside the home at night

since call center work are mostly done during night shifts bec. of

time zone differences w/ Western countries.

3. The idea of "being your own boss" can be attractive for an agent

since the working conditions at call centers are quite stiff for the

enterprising & independent-minded.

Team 1 Call Center Setup:

- Home-based

- telemarketing (outbound sales)

- dollar earning

- commission on per sale basis ($2-10 per sale)

- clients/contacts & technology provided to members

what are the advantages?

1. able to work at the comfort of your own home & the convinience of

your own time.

2. reduction of daily expenses (ex. no need to spend for

transportation, spend for food etc.)

3. no pressures on meeting quotas.

Telemarketing Setup:

1. Initially, we will be representing two accounts selling cards &

VOIP services to the US & Canada.

2. Call cards & VOIP accounts are highly sellable items in the US &

Canada.

3. Commissions are earned every time a sale is made.

Every monday-saturday there are orientations. Pls come don’t miss this

opportunity..

Cool Firefox Extension

Tuesday, November 8th, 2005

IE Tab

IE tab is a very brilliant extension to Firefox web browser. With this, you can surf the internet not just using Firefox, but Internet Explorer as well in one web browser. Yes, you heard me right! You can use IE in Firefox. Integrating IE inside Firefox is a cool thing. By using the Internet Explorer engine, you can view pages designed for IE in Firefox itself. You switch back and forth between browser engines. You can also view links in an IE tab so you can contain Firefox tabs and also IE tabs under one roof.

Anung meron?

Well, maraming nangyari last week up to this day. May mga shocking events, business oppurtunities, learning oppurtunities, "job thing"…. lupet everrr!
