Netscape 8 ‘breaks’ IE.

Friday, May 27th, 2005

Following a problem in IE with XML rendering after Netscape 8 has
been installed, Microsoft is advising users to uninstall Netscape.

Microsoft has alerted users that Netscape’s latest browser appears to
break the XML rendering capabilities in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Dave Massy, a senior programme manager for IE, warned users in a blog posting
that after installing Netscape 8, IE will render XML files as a blank
page, including XML files that have an XSLT transformation.

Microsoft did not make clear what versions of IE were affected, but a
user of the DeveloperDex forum said he experienced the problem on
version 6 of IE, which had been patched with Windows Service Pack 2.
The forum user, known as cybarber, said this issue has put him off
using Netscape. "This is really really bad," said cybarber in the posting. "Netscape was dead and now I will bury it so deep it will never surface. Internet Explorer (7?) is all I need."

Monday, May 23rd, 2005

Move away summer ‘coz here comes rainin’ June to dissipate the heat you caused for the past weeks. Yes! I can sleep without sweating. Hehe. The heat was so terrible that I consumed a lot of ice cream the last past weeks. Keeping me cool for almost half an hour. At least it rained. So far, so good. La lng. Share ko lng nangyari sa akin. Lol!

Where am I?

Oh yeah, I haven’t posted a blog since May 07 (I think). That is almost 2 weeks with no topic. Actually I devoted my time in creating web pages and currently still working on Prex!’s website( currently my best work ever.) But it’s so difficult to manage and create those pages since I am the only one creating them. It’s a good thing if I have a companion for creating websites but in my case, No. Then classes starts already and had to be busy again. I can’t even manage my time. Help! hehe.

Here is the website I’m currently working on: (not yet finished)

My love
It’s been a long time since i cried
And left you out of the blue
It’s hard
Leaving you the way
When i never really wanted to

Self denial
Is a game so strange i never really should’ve wanted
Til there was you
Cause i have learned that love was beyond
What human can imagine
More it clears
The more i gotta let you go

’cause what i don’t understand
Is why i’m feeling so bad now
When i know it was my idea
I could’ve just denied the truth and lied
Now why am i the only one standing stranded
On the same ground

My loveIndex01
It’s been a long time since i cried
And left you out of the blue
It’s hard
Leaving you the way
When i never really wanted to

Self denial
Is a game so strange i never really should’ve wanted
Til there was you
Cause i have learned that love
Is a word just thrown
A litlle bit too much of this
Excuse to fill this infinite of desire
And nevere ever have to fade

Cause what i don’t understand
Is why i’m feeling so bad now
When i know it was my idea
I could’ve just denied the truth and lied
Now why am i the only one standing stranded
On the same ground

If all else fail
Would you be there to love me?
When all else fails
Would you be brave to see right through me?

Miming is staring at me. Hehe.

Our cat is staring at me this actual moment while I’m creating this post. I don’t know why. Maybe he is still hungry? feel constipated? hopeless? I wish there’s some kind of a technology wherein we, humans, can interact and understand every meow sound they make. Lol!

News for today….

Remember the first time they release their service? The unlimited call is good for 10 days an their unlimited text is for 6 days. Now, this time, their calls are now 7 days and 4 days for their text. Why did they reduce the number of days? But I tried it anyway. La lang!

Yahoo Mail Gig vs Gmail

Great news for those peeps who have a Yahoo mail account. Your mail inbox will be upgraded from 250 megabytes to 1 gigabyte. That’s a lot of storage but nothing beats Gmail which has 2 plus gigs. I currently have a gmail account and find it very reliable for backing and storing important files. Overall, Gmail is the winner…. for me only. Ewan ko sa inyo. Hehe.

If you want a gmail invite, please email me at roughneck65@gmail.com. I still have 50 remaining invites so hurry!
