The wire is the culprit.

It happened saturday afternoon when my brother is playing raycrash( an internet-based game) when suddenly he got disconnected from the game. My brother told me and said that he restart the modem but nothing happened.  I immediately check the line and there was no dial tone. What the hell happened?! I’ve called there customer service number and said that it will forward my report to their technical. They also get my mobile number. After a few days, there was no repair man. I called many times and still the same answer I get from them. Finally, this saturday( a week after the problem) a repairman came and check the line. He said that our line located in one of the post was accidentally cut-off. He didn’t know why it was cut-off and then after finding a solution, he fixed the problem. Then, the line came back. Thanks to the repairman. Hehe. Yehey! We have internet again!

Whew! I am very busy last week as well as this week. Final exams had started and had to review hard to avoid a failing mark. I’ve been quite restless these days because of many events that happened. Recently, my classmates in a math subject and I had an outing together with our professor last Sunday. Some did not make it to the outing. It’s an incentive for our finals, hehe.

The place was excellent! Named Cleo’s place located in the remote province of Bullihan, Gen. Malvar, Batangas City, Philippines. It was some kind of a resting house that was meant to be rented. It includes a pool with jacuzzi, a nice sleeping area, audio-visual room equipped with dream satellite and some savvy audio instruments. It also has an open billiard room where you can see the river beside. The river was very clear, you can actually see the "lumot" (i forgot the englsh name..).

Yesterday, tuesday, we went to Digi Cafe in Vito Cruz. It was a treat for us,(the same people who went on an outing) by those people who didn’t come to the outing. It was fun having a new set of friends of different walks of life, each having their unique personalities. They all have humor that’s why there are no dull moments.

Start of vacation, some of my plans.

I don’t know what to do this vacation. Maybe find a job at least part time ‘coz I still have one subject to take this coming semester. Maybe go to Romblon with my mom to spend my summer and relax there. Maybe I’ll just stay home, hehe.

Intruiging Events

I heard many intruiging stories these past week. Some of them I can’t handle. Damn, I want to speak but I can’t. Weeeee!

First of all….

It’s been days since I last posted a blog here on friendster blogs. Sheesh! I’ve been very busy quite awhile. There’s so much topic in my head I want to write down but I guess one topic for the mean time. So here we go…

Smart 258 Unlimited Call and Text

Last month, Smart Communications released another promotion for their million subscribers. Named "Smart 258 Unlimited Call for as low as 115 for 10 days and Text as low as 60 for 6 days", the same as SUN’s Call and Text Unlimited. As registration is concerned, I find it a little bit confusing at the start. I had to look for the FAQ page on their website to understand fully their service. I found out that you cannot  subscribe Call unlimited and Text unlimited at the same time. Also when subscribed to the unlimited call, you must text the number you are calling to a specific number and wait for that service number to call you back and connect your call to your party.  That’s  annoying for my part because recently I have a SUN sim that let’s you call and text at the same time with their unlimited service…such a waste of time. But now, I have Smart’s addict Sim so I have to try their service. The registration is fast, and I registered the Text unlimited. I’m enjoying the service and had been registered 2 times these past month.

I posted the Smart 258 information in front of our sari-sari store and within that day, many smart subscribers had registered to the Smart 258 service. That night, one by one came to the store and complain why did their load been deducted, some can’t register anymore. I told them that I myself had been deducted and gave them the FAQ that I printed, and that you must have at least 1 peso on your load to fully use the service. Finally, some of them realized, although felt a little dismay on the service, and went home. That’s a relief.

The very Annoying!

One day, my load expired and I immediately load up my mobile phone. I register my sim to Unlimited Text. After 10 minutes there was no reply that I had been registered. I check out my balance and it was not deducted. Me too can’t register to their service. What the hell happened? I don’t bother to call their customer service because I had enough of their promises that never worked. I think this service is a test, maybe it will click in the market. But these signs are not favorable and can ruin their company. I hope that Smart can fix this or try reviewing the most needed services for our poor country.

Double the space, double the fun!

Google, recently, upgraded their email service from 1 gigabyte of storage to 2 gigs. Now that’s a great thing for me where I can store my files and documents in it. I heard that Yahoo will also upgrade their free email account to 1 gigabyte too. I think Google did a great move, making a difference in inbox competitions.
